Who writes MotorsCY
I'm Maximilian Berentzen. I write MotorsCY for people who are new to Cyprus and need to buy or keep a car.
Who's behind this site?
I moved to Cyprus in 2019. I bought a used car here, and it had a lot of problems. So I spent a lot of time at mechanics. I know several local mechanics.
What is this site for?
Each guide covers one task, in plain English. The guides are listed on the homepage.
Where do the figures come from?
In the guides, from the law as published, and from the public bodies that apply it. A figure with the Verified mark is traced to one of them. Each guide lists its sources at the foot, with the date each was checked.
Is any of this advice?
No. Nothing here is legal, tax or financial advice. The terms say more.
